I've been using bookpedia for a year and really like it.
When I started I signed up for an Amazon AWS account to allow searching on Amazon, as per the help file.
However I've now received an email from Amazon saying that my 12 month free trial period is ending and I will now be charged at the standard pay as you go rate.
So is what bookpedia does with my AWS account going to result in any charges?
Is it safe to keep the account open? (I don't use the account for anything else).
I realise this may be a FAQ but someone asked the same question here (https://www.bruji.com/forum/viewtopic.p ... zon#p25118) but didn't get a reply, and I couldn't find it answered anywhere else.
Thanks
Amazon AWS free tier expiring
Re: Amazon AWS free tier expiring
Thanks for the message. You can ignore the email. There is no charge for the AWS service. The account can be used for a number of other services and hence those other services are no longer free. But Bookpedia does not use any of them except the Product API to get information that has no charge.
