What do you think about another product: an artist library ... it could serve DVD-, BOOK- and CDpedia as a person ( = artist) archive and the ground work for it is sure there already. From that ARTISTpedia the other pedias would for instance grab key facts and photos for persons - musicians, directors, actresses etc. for nicely hovering above a person link. Also more person related information could get stored there compared to what's possible in the current pedias now.
Additional usage example: For some contributions to a work (like a book used for a film script) you'd use the same artist entry for all related items you own (like: the book and a Blu-ray made from it linkt to the same person as writer) - in ARTISTpedia that would be like: you see all works of a person regardless in which pedia it's stored.
And: Wikipedia scripts would be a nice starting point to add person related facts.

Re: ARTISTpedia ?
Thank you for the feedback. That is actually a neat idea, we have been considering information about director and authors and how we could expand on that inside the Pedias. As you mention Wikipedia integration would be crucial to be able to get a lot of the information. Although Freebase is more structured for computers it is not as extensive as Wikipedia. We are working on incorporating a Wikipedia information or script directly into Doghouse for more product information, specially in other languages other than English, if we come up with a very good system we could then use it to expand our data and redesign the Pedias with that capabilities in mind.
