information displayed in fullscreen mode (dvdpedia)

Post by Ted L. Nancy »

Between the title and the cover art in fullscreen mode, DVDpedia displays information about each movie (studio, genre, length, etc.). Is there a way to prevent this information from being displayed? I never make use of it and would like a more clutter-free fullscreen experience. I'd be willing to delete this information for each movie title if there is an efficient way to do this.

Thanks.

Unfortunately that data display is fixed and cannot be customized at this point. Only the details part of the full screen view, i.e. the part that appears when you click on a title, can be customized in the Preferences/Fields.

If you really don't ever want to see that information (not even in the regular views) then you could delete the information from the fields for all entries at once via the multiple edit. To do that, select all entries, press the 'Edit' button in the toolbar and check the boxes next to Director, Studio, Genre, Duration and Collection ID. Leave the fields blank and press 'OK'. The information from the fields will now be deleted and thus not appear in the full screen view anymore.

Thanks for the feedback. We'll keep it in mind to expand the full screen view customization.
