Hi Bruji support,
I am the guy that has been emailing you about problems viewing images in DVDpedia full screen since moving to Snow Leopard and that you are having problems replying to my emails. As I have not heard back again from you I do not know if you have received any more of my emails regarding this problem or not, so I have joined the forum hoping to get in contact with you.
Regarding the email problem, I have no idea why your replies to me are being rejected, it is the same address I have been using for years and you have replied to it in the past, most recently in February of this year, your email address is on my whitelist, also I had no problems joining this forum and getting the authorisation email sent to the same address. I can also get my serial numbers sent to that address from your website.
Re the full screen problem, prior to moving to a 24" 2.8 iMac with Snow Leopard 10.6.1 I had no issues with full screen on a G4 1ghz running Tiger 10.4.11 with DVDpedia 4.5.3. Upon transferring everything to the iMac I started getting this issue of some cover images not being shown in full screen even though they were visible in main view. I then updated DVDpedia to 4.5.4 but still had the same issue, I then worked out that the images not appearing were ones that I had scanned in my self, and that if I re-saved them making sure there was no exif information saved in them they would show.
Yesterday I updated to Snow Leopard 10.6.2 and the problem has gone but now when scrolling through full screen mode DVDpedia hangs and I have to force quit. I have sent you console logs/crash reports but I do not know if you have received them?
Hope this is of some help
Your help is greatly appreciated

DVDpedia: problems with full screen under Snow Leopard
Re: DVDpedia: problems with full screen under Snow Leopard
Hi Steve,
Thank you for coming to our forum, I was hoping you would do that, in order to be able to get in touch. The email issue is indeed a very strange one. Never had anything similar happen before. I tried emailing you from different servers and SMTPs. Including login in to my personal Gmail account online and emailing you from the web interface (This one was the weirdest of them all, I get the message to my Gmail inbox addressed to you from me within 2 minutes, some sort of loop). I'll send you the error we get with our regular corporate server in a private message.
On to the DVDpedia bug. Thank you for all the information and patience. We had reported some bugs with Core Image to Apple and they fixed those with 10.6.2 but we should have also worked around them in our latest version of the Pedias 4.5.4. Glad the disappearing images are fixed. On the new hanging bug, if you could send us sample image files, especially the next image that is supposed to load when the full screen freezes (they load on a needed basis so I am guessing that the next one to loaded would be the problematic image). To show the original image in the Finder, ctrl-click on the image on the bottom left of the main window and use "Show in Finder". Also if you still have some images with exif information send us that one as we have computers running 10.6.1 and can't test that and fix any bugs for those who haven't yet updated.
Also any additional hanging crash reports would be useful to look for the common point and determine where it might be hanging (due to the multithreaded nature of the full screen it might not be obvious from a single report).
Glad to be finally in touch!
