Hi everyone,
I just bought my father an MacBook. The only reason why he still needs his PC is
CD Trustee. Do you know this Program?
It does the same like CDpedia only for PC.
My Father has arround 2.500 CDs archived and arround 3.000 Vinyl. So I don't want to tell him he has to retype erverything.
CD Trustee uses a Microsoft Access 97 database, thats all I Know...
CD Trustee Import
Re: CD Trustee Import
I don't know anything about CD Trustee but if it has a tab or comma (CSV) delimited export option then you're good. Just make sure you include all the possible fields (or at least those your father is interested in) in the export and then import the file into CDpedia.
To download the cover images afterwards, use the 'Download cover art for selection' option found under the Advanced menu or get advanced info for the entry. (You can do this either via the Advanced menu or by using the little gear button in the Edit window. The advantage of the gear button is that if there is more than one possible result returned, you can choose the correct one from the little drawer that pops out on the side of the window whereas the advanced menu option will automatically choose the first result for you.)

Re: CD Trustee Import
If it uses an MS Access database then it surely has a comma or tab-delimited export. All databases have these options, including Access. Even if the program itself does not have a comma or tab-delimited export (which it must have) you could always open the database directly in Access and export from there as a last resort. It should be pretty straightforward.
Cheers.
