New Update Didn't Sort My Selections!

Post by cogramma »

I just upgraded to Verison 1.1.2 on my iPod Touch. I was all excited about the Sort capability now but after upgrading all my titles are exactly the way they were before I upgraded. The only thing I did notice is a new title that I added did get placed in the right order. Is there a way to get all the titles sorted properly since this upgrade didn't do it ?

If the sort button only works for the iPhone and not the iPod Touch then maybe an 'Edit button' and then when in edit mode you can move them up or down respectively for proper placement so the titles are easier to find within each alphabet letter.

Re-sorting by title should place the already added entries into the correct order. To do so click on the top right button when in a collection, it looks like a curved arrow. This will present a sheet with options for sorting the collection.

Thank you so much! It worked - Now all my Titles are sorted correctly. The only minor issue is if the title starts with A or The. For example one title called A Fish Called Wanda. I would place it alphabetically within the A's but it uses the 2nd word 'Fish' to alphabetize. It's not a big deal but I would prefer that the titles with A and The be in the A's and T's.

But again, it's not a huge deal, I'm just glad they are in better order than before. They are much easier to find now.

Thanks again!!

Excellent news. The articles are ignored as is usually done in the English. Thank you for the feedback, that you would like a preference for that.
