I am sure I am doing something stoopid, but I am brand new to DVDpedia so hopefully it is just a simple thing. I have downloaded the trial version for Mac, I have a few DVDs ripped to the hard drive, but I can't link to them. When I go full screen in DVDpedia the option at the bottom to 'play' just makes an error beep, like there is nothing linked to the movie details. I have tryed to link by clicking 'link' in the top menu bar, then the video file. No luck. Is it because I am just trialling it? Do I need to purchase it to get this feature, or have I missed something obvious?
Please help, as if I can get this working I think I may have found my new favourite program
Thanks
Paul
can't play dvd files from DVDpedia
It seems as the links you are creating are not being recognized as movie files, the link type should be "Movie" or "DVD" if the program thinks they are movies. Please send us a dcard or two of the movies with links in them so that we can look at the link format. To create the dcard drag the movies from the table view to the desktop, you can then email us those files. The trial version has no limitations on the features apart from the 10 DVD limit.
