I'm running an Intel mac with 10.4.11 and trying to sync to an iPod Touch.
I've tried regular syncing with both systems connected to my wireless network, then created a wireless network for the Touch to connect to.
In both cases all I got was a dialog box with "Synchronizing: Requesting Collections." After a while poketpedia gives up.
Any suggestions?

This appears to be a common problem. I created a thread about my issues with BookP and PocketP, but then noticed that the same issue was covered in the aforementioned thread, so started posting there. I was able to get mine connected through a simple firewall pinhole. Your ports may not be the same, so check your logs before creating a rule with the ports I mentioned.

I read through the thread part way then thought "Why don't I just turn the firewall off in the Sharing Preferences?"
I did, it synced nicely thank you very much, then I turned the firewall back on.
