Bookpedia and selling on Amazon UK

Hi

Is there some way that can force Bookpedia to locate a title to sell on Amazon.co.uk alone, and not Amazon.com?

I sell only on Amazon UK, but when I click the sell at Amazon button, the browser opens either at Amazon US or Amazon UK, to display the sell your book page, seemingly without any obvious rhyme or reason. However, nearly all the titles are British publications or occasionally European but hardly if ever US published books.

Hi Richard,

Bookpedia will return to whatever Amazon locale the information was originally downloaded from. So make sure you add your entries through Amazon UK to establish the link to the Amazon UK site automatically.

Thanks for that but I'm not sure. I'm listing some fairly obscure art books at the moment. I just tried to add a book called 'The Paradise Institute'. Bookpedia couldn't find the book from the ISBN on the book or the title, so I searched Amazon UK for the title, found the ISBN, copied it into Bookpedia add/search and the book came up. The details were from the UK site as the book was priced in sterling. After I added the book, I clicked the sell button and ended up on .com.

I deleted the book from Bookpedia, repeated the whole process, and the second time around ended up on the .co.uk site.

I'll just carry on, but thought you should know that there seem to be some exceptions to the general process that don't conform with your outline.

Thank you for the information. If it happens with other books in the future please send us a few ISBN numbers so that we can try the same search and try to replicate the bug. Once we can do that we can fix it.
