Hi,
I think DVDpedia would make a perfect birthday present for a friend of mine. How can that be done in a way that gives him the licence/support?
Buying it with my name and giving him the key as a present violates the software's license and he is not registered with you as an owner of your product (and e.g. cannot get his key sent to his e-mail address if he loses it). If I just enter his address instead of mine in the interface of your web shop he'll get the reciept (not inteded with a gift) and I'll get no feedback at all for the transaction.
So how can this be done? Can I just buy a license and ask you to transfer it to the presentee?

Re: DVDpedia as a gift
Buy the license under your name and email address and then just send us an email with his name and email as well as the order number (you will receive that with your serial number) and we can update our information in case he ever loses his serial number. Also downloading our .dmg file and burning the .dmg directly to a CD using Disk Utility is a great way to make the gift physical. You can create a gift graphic for the cover and print/write the serial number on the inside.
Lucky man, getting such a great gift like DVDpedia.
