When I have mail open dvdpedia won't open. It just hangs and not responds but as soon as I close mail it opens. I wanted to know if this is a known bug with Leopard. Please Help.

It was not a know bug, but I will try it out now and see if I can replicate it. If you find out any more information do let me know.

We've tried reproducing the problem with the programs hanging when Mail is running in Leopard but it all seems to be working fine here.

If it keeps happening for you, can you please send us some more details so we can look further into the matter. Have a look at your console log for example, see if there are any messages from DVDpedia. You can access the console log via the application Console, located inside your Utilities folder in Applications. The newer messages are towards the end of the log.

Could you also do the following please - while DVDpedia is hanging in the Dock and not really doing anything, could you run Activity Monitor (you'll find it in Applications/Utilities), select DVDpedia and press the 'Sample Process' button in the toolbar. That'll open a new window where you can press 'Save' to create a file. Please send us that file (you'll find our email on the supportpage.) Hopefully that'll tell us a bit more about what's going on with DVDpedia. Thanks!
