isight doesn't work well at all

New user to bookpedia and selected the app because of all of the good reviews it received and delicious library not so good. Everyone raved about bookpedia and how well the isight worked. When I checked out the bookpedia sight I see that others are having the problem. Do we know when we'll have a fix for isight?

Just want to get all of my books inventoried.

Thank you for the report on the new iMac. We are working on updating it for the new MacBook and hopefully it will be the same camera. Will let you know when we have a beta available.

You should have no problems with the beta version. If the new iMac is not working with the beta version please let us know and email us the information from the your console log (this would be the model number of the camera that Bookpedia prints out) as well as a screenshot of the iSight window while holding a barcode inside the red box. Thank you, no specifics. The beta is the same as the shipping version minus this change, it's called "Bookpedia Beta" to avoid confusion but can be used like the regular version. The only specific is if it fails do try adding light to the room as the contrast on the barcode does help.
