IMDb search (4.6.5) fixed in beta

If you're having trouble with the IMDb search in version 4.6.5, download the beta please and you'll find the problem fixed. We'll wait a few days before releasing an official update in case any more changes happen.

Hi, I see you have fixed the issue with the imdb search in this beta.

But, and it's a big but for me, Searches for IMDB title numbers are no longer working.

I like to be able to record the data for individual TV episodes.

In earlier versions of DVDpedia, I could search for the tt number - e.g. tt1266007, and get back the episode data as if it were a movie.

This is no longer working - why not?

Just search for the IMDb number, in this case 1266007, omitting the “tt.” It works for me that way.

As mentioned by Alan, the number alone works, but I will be sure to allow the "tt" option as well with the next version for those that find that more intuitive.
