How to refresh data (eg latest IMDB rating)

Hi, is there a way to refresh / update information such as the IMDB ratings (and other data) of the movies I keeep in my DVDpedia library? I have not found anything that would update stats of DVDs I have added a while ago already.

Delete the data from the fields that you want refreshed. (You can select all entries and choose 'Edit' to open the multi edit window and delete the info for all all entries at once.) Then when you do the 'Get Advanced info' or use the gear button in the Add/Edit window the data will automatically be updated. (The Pedias never overwrite data that's already present.)

I am (just another) new user of DVDPedia and have some troubles in understanding the rating field. In fact I get no informations at all (and I dont refer to the "My rating" field.)

I use Amazon.co.uk for the data, but I never get any data within the rating field. Are the Amazon ratings actually used?

Then I tried an update with IMDB (the rating field was empty) - to no success.

What am I doing wrong?

Amazon has removed the average rating from their web service, there was no mention to developers about it, so it might be temporary or not. Could you give us a sample title where the 'Rating' info didn't com in from an IMDb you so we can try that out here? For example Love Actually should display "7.8 (102,931 votes)". Could you please send me a .dcard file for Avatar so we can see the exact same entry here and try to repeat the problem? To create a dcard, select the entry in DVDpedia's table view and drag it out to your Desktop. The .dcard file will automatically be created and you simply have to attach it to the email.

Also, please go to the Avatar page on IMDb and create a webarchive of it (File menu > Save As) and attach that to the email as well. Thanks! You'll find our email address on the support page.
