BOOKpedia won't update and doesn't find any books.

I have been using the Pedias (DVD, Game, CD, Book) for close to a year now and have been quite pleased with their performance. However, Bookpedia recently quit working the way it used to. (The other Pedias are still working fine.)

* It doesn't find anything, when using the "add button" - I tried every search possible: Bookpedia keeps saying right off the bat that there are no results. (Apparently, it doesn't even start the search.)

* It won't update automatically: When I look for updates, the program keeps telling me that there is an error and that I should check my internet connection.

What could be the problem? Thanks in advance!

Sounds like your system is blocking Bookpedia from accessing the internet. Make sure you don't have any firewall settings on that would block Bookpedia. Take a look at your console log with the program of the same name in your utilities folder for any errors or clues of what could be happening. Also please try downloading a new version directly from our website and trying that out.

(Little Snitch was blocking Bookpedia - beats me why. I changed the rules and it works again.)
