How many entries are possible?
Do you know how many entries DVDpedia can handle? I haven't bought it yet but would have to add or import about 4700 films/titles.

you can add pretty much as many entries as you like. I know that there are several users with 3000+ entries and they seem to quite happy. Some of the program functions will probably get a little slower (switching from one collection to another, the cover image view) but other than that you shouldn't run into any problems.

PS: If you're importing the entries, you can even do this in the demo mode of the program; to see how the above mentioned functions handle. You won't be able to Edit or Add anything new since the 10 entry demo limit will be surpassed but otherwise the program will be functional.
