Hello,
Sorry for my poor english, I'm french
I have a trouble with synchronization between Bookpedia and Pocketpedia with accented first character.
If in Bookpedia list I have books with the first character of the same letter alternatively accented and not. Books with no accented first letter between the accented books are not exported.
With an example it's probably more simple:
In Bookpedia i have this list:
À quoi tu pense ?
Aigles décapitées
Aldébarran
Alive
Âme du Kyudo
Âmes sombres
Angus Powderhill
Après la guerre
Arcanes
...
After sync,in Pocketpedia i have this list:
À
À quoi tu pense ?
Â
Âme du Kyudo
Âmes sombres
A
Angus Powderhill
Après la guerre
Arcanes
Personnally if all books with A first letter (À, Â, A and other) are grouped in Pocketpedia it's fine
There are a some similar trouble with the web export, but it's less important because in this case we only have a repetition of the first letter and all book are finally exported. For exemple always with A letter and "dfProHTML" template
In the alphabetical list at the top of the screen i have
À | A | Â | A
Pocketpedia - Export with accented first letter
Re: Pocketpedia - Export with accented first letter
Thank you for the bug report and the example it does make it easier. This bug was fixed a few versions back. Make sure to use the latest Bookpedia 4.3.2. version.
The diacritics not being merged in the export is something we still have to address. We haven't fixed it yet because in some countries this is the expected behavior (Scandinavia, for example). So we have to figure out how to be intelligent about the merging and not apply the same separation for all users.
