No Results with internal iSight

Hi

Scanning with the internal iSight in my iMac Core Duo with 10.5.5 is not working. No DVD and no Book is recognized.
I tired old and new DVDs, english and german ones. Nothing happend. Only once the red stripes turn green for a moment.
What to do?

How many GHz iMac? Try different light settings, the new camera tends to very sensitive to the light, trying to adjust automatically.

i tired differnt light settings. i will do more test tomorrow.
