No organizing button

I have installed Pocketpedia on my iPhone and synced my BookPedia collection but the organizing button that is mentioned in the manual does not show up anywhere. What to do ?

The organize button only appears for Pocketpedia collections. For those collection that are from Bookpedia, Pocketpedia takes the organization from Bookpedia. If you would like to organize your books by author, make sure to do so in Bookpedia and then update sync your collection again to Pocketpedia. At the moment it does not take date or number sorts from bookpedia as Pocketpedia would not know how to divide that into sections, like it does with the alphabet.

Ok, I think. So how can I add a book on the iPhone?

If you would like to add a book directly on the iPhone use the Amazon search to find the book. You will see a little organizing button in the details for the search results from Amazon. Clicking that button will let you add a book to a new Pocketpedia collection that will be distinct from your synced Bookpedia collection. The reason they are distinct collections is that backward syncing is not a feature that Pocketpedia has at the moment and we want to avoid any confusion or overwriting of an entry that was added on the iPhone directly.
