Re: Amazon button

Think I have sussed it. I always do the initial scan barcode and lookup using amazon.co.uk but I prefer to get the info from imdb because it tends to be more accurate. This sets the url field to the imdb address. On clicking the amazon button it goes to amazon.com. Not really a problem as I dont rea...

Re: Amazon button

Thats probably why then. I had deleted all the url trackback information, for a reason ;) Will make do with it opening the us link. Although I notice that several of my entries, after restoring from a backup, open the us amazon store even though the info was taken from amazon uk. For example. Miss P...

Amazon button

Hi,

Is there a way to change the amazon site launched from the amazon button on the toolbar? I want to make it open amazon.co.uk not amazon.com

Thanks in advance

Custom fields data type

Hi,

I would love to be able to decide what data type the custom fields contain. For example I would like to set a custom field as "Movie Poster" and have it include a poster from moviepicturedb.com

IMDB Cast Information not downloading

Hi,

Today (27th June) dvdpedia has stopped downloading cast information when adding dvd's. It downloads maybe a character name or two but thats it.

Bonjour sync between two macs

Hi, Would it be possible to add the ability to sync dvdpedia running on multiple macs using bonjour. For example I have my mac mini as a media box downstairs in the lounge, I add movies either on my macpro or imac in the study, it would be great to just press sync from the mac mini to make it contai...

Re: Desktop Version

I will second what Conor has said. The DVDPedia application is the reason I bought a mac! Excessive maybe, but with a 7000+ dvd library I needed something that was going to do the biz, and still provide all the features that I wanted.

Since then I have kind of fallen for macs and now have 4!

Re: IMDB Alternative Version

Thanks for that. In the absence of a menu item, like the other queries, this will suffice.

IMDB Alternative Version

Hi,

Would it be possible to add the "Alternative Versions" search to IMDB information plugin like the awards, mistakes, etc.

IMDB Advanced information download

Hi,

DVDpedia no longer seems to pick up the cast details when doing a "Get Advanced Information For Selection". Maybe IMDB has changed something (yet again)

I just purchased and set about scanning my huge dvd collection. I seem to be having the same problem as MacNara. About 1 in 10 DVDs will think it has scanned properly as soon as the dvd is anywhere near the iSight camera. Often this results in all question marks being sent to the search. Other than ...
