Alternative placement for images folder?

When I export a collection to the web, the image folder is automatically stored inside the folder with the collection's name. Is it possible to store them outside this folder? I have uploaded several collections to the web, with many overlapping entries. It would be nice if they could share the same image folder instead of uploading all images again for each collection.

At the moment it is not possible as the image name is based on the order of the entry within a particular collection. Thanks for the suggestion though.
