I’m no longer able to sync the latest version of Bookpedia 7 with the Pocketpedia app.

I get the following error message when I have Bookpedia open and click ‘sync’ in the iphone app:

"Pedia not found. Please launch the Pedia program on your Mac."

I’m running Sequoia 15.1 and iOS 18.0.1 on my iPhone 15 pro max.

Local settings is turned on for Pocketpedia on my iphone:

To turn on ‘local network permission’ on your iphone for Pocketpedia:
Visit “Settings” app on your iPhone and then look for “Pocketpedia”.
There will be a "local network” access checkbox make sure it’s checked so that Pocketpedia has access to receive data from the Bookpedia on the local network.
You should relaunch Pocketpedia after turning this on.

Reply from the developer fixed the issue.

"In the new MacOS, it’s also setting and you have to give permission to Bookpedia in “System Settings” “Privacy and Security”, also “Local Network” Access."

Syncing between Bookpedia and Pocketpedia is now working again.

I just updated to Bookpedia 7 and noticed a similar sync issue. Do I need to restart both apps after enabling local network access, or is relaunching Pocketpedia enough?

It would not hurt to clear the pedia's by swiping up from the bottom left and then restarting them and your iPhone.
