Getting no results in Spotlight for DVDpedia entries

I'm using DVDpedia 5.4.2, bought directly from Bruji. I get no results when I search for a DVD title in Spotlight, or when I search for kind:DVD. I've turned off the "Spotlight" under DVDpedia Help, restarted, turned it back on, and restarted. No changes. I've searched the forums, and based on that, I then tried deleting the DVDpedia folder under Library > Caches > Metadata. No change.

How do I get Spotlight to rebuild its index of my DVDs in DVDpedia?

Hi Scott,

Thanks for the bug report. What OS X version are you using? There is a bug in the Spotlight Indexer in 10.11 that will stop the indexing from happening. Has to do with the Spotlight Indexer being sandboxed and not able to read the necessary data. Looking at getting it fixed with Apple or a work around.

Thanks very much for your reply. I am using El Capitan, 10.11.2. I hope you can find a resolution.
