since IMDB.com website design changed 2 days ago,
the option Update "From IMDB" no longer downloads poster jpg and no longer fills in iMDB rating.

All other fields still do get updated, I think. And manually adding imdb rating and imdb jpg works.

This is in DVDPedia 5.4.0 and in 5.4.1 on 10.10.5 with Safari 8.0.8 as default browser.
I'm using a standard template in Window view.

Thank you so much for the heads up on the redesign of the website and the exact issue details.

Duration was also an issue as they have switched from the "90min" version to "1h 30min".

I have fixed all the issues and uploaded a new version DVDpedia Beta. I will wait a while not the official version in case more changes are coming in the pipeline for the website.

Great you fixed the field match! Mighty quick!

The beta version requires a serial number when adding a movie
and I don't think I have one because the app is from the MacAppstore.
Or maybe I do have one but don"t know where to look.

I searched the forum but couldn"t find a work around how to use the beta version without S/N.

Could someone tell me where to find the S/N or how to run the beta without S/N?

edit: I'm going to create a new thread for this question in the appropriate forum.

Can confirm IMDb Update is freezing. Had to Force Quit.

Thank you for the info, please try the DVDpedia beta version I think I managed to fix it.

All is good now and IMDb Update is working again.

I started off with 1 update then gradually increased the number of simultaneous updates till the last one of 258 entries. My database entries now have more info in them especially the older ones from 2 or 3 years ago. So the plugin is searching for more info and IMDb is providing more info than my earlier entries. Must remember to re-update my database at least annually.
