Amazon ACS Impossible

I have been trying to create an Amazon ACS account for four days but I'm on the verge of giving up. I'm not a total iMac illiterate but Amazon seems to have changed what and how to get started. I managed to get an access ID and a secret access key but I can't find anywhere what an Associate Tag is and DVDpedia will not let me get in without this. I've read all the DVDpedia blogs and they all seem outdated against what amazon requires.Can someone send me a quick guide to getting started?

I'm sorry to hear you've run into trouble with the associate ID signup. The page to do this is here. The latest information for the sign up is found in the online Help since Amazon only recently finalized these changes and we haven't updated the program yet.
