Is there a way to prevent the "Wish List" from adding a Collection ID number? I mean they are not in the Collection yet.

Collection ID Numbers
Re: Collection ID Numbers
I'm looking into it, I'll let you know if I am able to update the program to change this. The separation between the add window and the add to collection in the program makes it complicated to implement. E.i. the collection ID is added while the entry is being previewed (so the user can change it or update it) and the selected collection that it's going to be added can still change by the user selecting a new one. So I don't want to strip the collection ID magically when adding to the wish list; this breaks the connection with what the user sees in the add window with the data that ends up in the entry. Or not set the collection ID when the preview starts with the wish list selected for if a user then changes collection and adds the entry to a regular collection it won't have a collection ID. The second option would be the most logical, but it's that edge case of switching collections that would break it for users who rely on the auto add and increment and fixing that is a bit more complicated as I have to track the collection selection from the add window that currently is independent.
What you bring up makes perfect sense that wish list are not part of your collection yet and I'll let you know if I am able to solve it and put up a beta version.

Re: Collection ID Numbers
Thank you Conor - I did not realise how complicated this was. I look forward to an answer either way.
