Is it possible to downgrade from version 5 to version 4 using the EXPORT and IMPORT functionality?

If you're downgrading because of the search window, please make sure you read the blog post linked in your other thread first. If you still want to downgrade after that, then you can use the .pedia export format to export those entries you've added since upgrading and import them into version 4. The two programs use separate data files so whatever information you added in version 5 will not automatically appear in version 4.

Make sure after you downgrade to version 4.6.8 you delete the data file for version 5 (Database.dvdpd) so that if you ever do decide to update, the program will be forced to do this from your 4.6.8 file. You will find the file in the DVDpedia data folder, located in your Home folder under ~/Library/Application Support/DVDpedia

If you're on Lion, it hides the Library folder by default so to go to your DVDpedia data folder you have to use the Finder's 'Go' menu, select 'Go to Folder' and copy paste ~/Library/Application Support/DVDpedia into the window that appears.
