When downloading "subjects" information from the Library of Congress, a comma in the subject listing incorrectly splits that subject into multiple parts. For example," Little Bighorn, Battle of the, Mont., 1876" becomes "Little Bighorn", "Battle of the", "Mont.", "1876" http://lccn.loc.gov/2003044587

Thanks for letting us know. Download the Bookpedia beta and the Subject information coming in from the Library of Congress with a comma will no longer be separated into blue bubbles. (We don't encourage the use of commas in Subjects so you won't be able to type commas.)
We also took the opportunity to improve the search using the LoC call number. (bookpedia:search?lccn=2003044587)

I have downloaded the beta version of the software. I am still having issues with the LOC downloads. Please try 978-1-4262-0412-8 and 978-1-4262-0350-3. The subject field is not being filled in. I also tried the link to 2003044587. The search started but continued for over 5 minutes when I aborted it.

The ISBN 9781426204128 doesn't seem to exist on the LoC site - the search doesn't work for me either via Bookpedia using the Library of Congress plug-in or directly on the Library of Congress catalog website. (They do have an entry for "Shackelton: The Antarctic Challenge" but the ISBN is listed as 0792275365). The subjects for that particular entry are included when information is downloaded using a title search in Bookpedia.

For 9781426203503 I do get a result ("Journey through hallowed ground") which includes the subjects; the same is true for 2003044587 ("Trail to Wounded Knee").

Could you email me a screenshot of your Search window please so I can try to match your settings here, maybe there's something I'm overlooking. You'll find our email on the Support page.

Please check your console log for are any messages from Bookpedia if the search keeps hanging for you. You can access the console log via the application 'Console', located inside your Applications/Utilities. The newer messages are towards the end of the log.
