DVDPedia - order weird sorting by Rating in MyFancyIndex

Hi again. When I sort by My Rating in the web output of MyFancyIndex (see
http://oddpupil.org/ilatest for example) it puts all the 5-stars at the top, then starting at 1-star the rest are sorted in ascending order.
So it goes something like:
5
5
5
5
1
1.5
2
3
3.5
4
4.5
4.5
Any ideas?
Many thanks again.

Download the DVDpedia
beta 2 and the problem with the My Rating sort should be fixed. (The new half star rating is translated to numbers for the sorting and when that happens 10 is sorted before 1 for the computer, hence the 5 star rating appears first.) If you'd rather wait for the official version fix, it'll be part of the next release.

Hi Nora,
Thanks for this and sorry for the delay. I have just installed the latest update so I am on 5.0.2. Not sure if that was the 'next release' you were referring to, but if so, this still seems to be broken.
Cheers from 'sunny' England

If you have modified FancyIndex in anyway and it's called "MyFancyIndex" you have to add your modifications again to a copy of the original FancyIndex that has been update. Do try the export directly with "FancyIndex" and not "MyFancyIndex" for testing.

Ah yes. Works with the Original. I'm getting dizzy keeping my FancyIndex modifications up-to-date. Is there just a '.js' file I can replace (or just replace the FancyImages directory), or do I need to copy the Index, Details, and Images and then replace my Content bits in the Index and Details page (that's the dizzying part ... wish I could skip it)

The "FancyIndexImages" would be all you need to replace. The actual changed files are fi.js and fi.shared.js. This assumes that you have not changed the order of the columns or removed them. If you have you can replace fi.shared.js but have to update fi.js to have the correct number of the my rating and rated column.
