Hello - new to the forum.
Purchased DVDPedia yesterday evening (12 Nov 11) from the AppStore. I paid EUR 10.49 for it. Version stated was 5 (and dated 8 Nov 11) but when I check the version in "about .." it shows 4.9.3.
I had previously downloaded the software from the website to try it out, as soon as i found it was what I wanted I bought it through the App store. When I tried to install from the Appstore I got an error message telling me that I was trying to install a version lower than what was already there (the website download). How can I upgrade this to the latest version? Since I only have it less than a day I would be pleased to receive a link or hint where I can download this.
Also how do I register the software and find out the serial number? I suspect that this will eventually arrive since I purchased it over a weekend. Look forward to your advice on this.
cheers - David Mustard
App store version 5 downloaded got 4.9.3
Re: App store version 5 downloaded got 4.9.3
I'm sorry for the confusion about that version number mix up. The version on the App Store is definitely the latest version, 5.0, it's just a display error in the program. We will fix the about box for the next version release.
If you purchased the program through the App Store then you do not receive a serial number, instead the program is automatically registered to your computer via your App Store account.
