ADD, not REPLACE, tags

If you are editing multiple items, you can only REPLACE their tags with a new set of tags, you cannot ADD a tag to each item's list of tags. It would be nice if you could do so. Well, you can add a tag, but only if the items all had identical tags to begin with. If they have different tags, you are stuck with replace.

You can add tags to several entries at once. I just tried this in Bookpedia 4.6.8: selected four entries, each with different tags, opened the multiple edit window and added a new tag in the 'Tags' field. After pressing OK each entry had that new tag appended. What's happening differently for you when you do this?

It is my experience that any new tags entered into a multiple edit will only add the new tag to whatever old tags are in place. In fact only tags that are shared by EVERY entry in the multiple edit will even appear in the dialogue box. If this is the case, simply adding the new tag to the end of the list (or more than one, comma separated) suffices to add rather than replace.
