I'm usually use the IMDB source to get movie information when adding a new tile. Everything works fine in the past, but In the last few days something happened, because all my queries succeed with partial result! Only a few field completed: cover picture, studio, duration, release, Sound, Languages, Subtitles, imbd ID etc. but no tile, no director, no writer, no genre, no theatrical release, no staring, no rating, no summary etc. I'm tried many times with same title but the result was exactly the same.

Please download the beta for the fix.

Not here! Also with the beta Version, I don't get any update with imdb.com

Perhaps I should delete a Preference file somewhere?

@marek - Just to make sure that you have the correct beta, please delete DVDpedia (and the beta) from your Mac and then download the beta once more here.

If the searches on IMDb still don't work after that, please let us know more details about the problem: do you get an instant message that no data was found? Do you get partial info, if so, which fields? (Ideally, let us know which title you're searching for and the info you get so we can test that here.) Thanks.

I have had the Beta 3.? Don't know why. Updates with imdb are working now (with Beta 4.1)!

Funny, only one title I have no result: "Die große Stille" does not do anything. Although I am coming directly to this film with the title search of imdb.com .

Is there perhaps an encoding problem with "ß" ?

Single direct results were broken, it's now fixed in beta 42. Thank you Marek.

For me also beta 4.2 doesn't work. Getting data from IMDb, almost all fields are empty, movie title included. It shows only the image and the genre, nothing else. I tried with a lot of titles, but without success.

Update: I discovered this strange behavior: if you are registered to the IMDb site and you have the option "Show previous title and name page design (reference view)" checked in site preferences, the program doesn't work. If you uncheck this option, it works fine. I hope it could be helpful.

Sorry for the late feedback, but I was busy in the last week. So the beta works fine, but I have a little problem. The search result is fine, but I get the movie title in Hungarian. Yes, I'm in Hungary, but I would like to use the English titles because all my collection contains that. How I can solve this?

Updated: I checked my IMDB account preferences and I founded the solution. After I changed the "Title display country" and "Title display language" the title revert back to English…
