2 Way Sync is stopping me buying!

I poketpedia in July, but I want to buy the desktop apps and sync up, at the moment, no 2 way sync is stopping me.

I know I could buy them now and do a one way sync from my mac to iphone, but that wouldnt really work for me. I find myself using the mac less and less, and the iphone more and more. I want to edit my lists on either and it wouldnt matter, they would both be in sync.

My main use would be to have a list of all the films and games I have on me at all times so I know what i have so i dont repurchase something, or i know what i have to lend out. I also want to add items to my wish lists wherever i am.

For teh time being, although not quite the same, Im using evernote as that has an iphone app, a web app, a windows app and a mac app and they all keep in sync. I wish the pedia apps were liek this, evernote is great, but i would like a more specilist version, a mix of the syncing and everywhere use of evernote, and the features of the pedia apps

Do we know when basic 2 way sync will be added?

Thank you for the feedback, and the description on how you would use it. We hope to add editing on the iPhone as well as 2 way sync, but we do not have a release date for those features.

I have already purchased the mac app and I'm more than happy with it and all it's features. However I have to agree with some of the comments here, I know and understand that there are some features on the way and can't wait, but the last update of the pocketpedia seemed to improve more for the free users side rather than the paying customer side, I can understand the marketing idea behind that, but it was still a little annoying.

I would like to be able to pass a DVD to my friends or whoever and rather than boot my mac just to book it out in the program, pull my iphone out my pocket put it into that and know full well that the next time I sync the record is on the mac to remind them in via e-mail when it's due back.

I'm not a programmer so I appriciate these programs being built. Maybe you could charge 59p for the app for the iPhone only users and let the paid up dvdpedia users have it for free, maybe that would encourage users that liked the phone version to buy the full version and pay for developement towards the pocket version improvements.

Thanks for your hard work, credit where credit is due it is a top app, I have recommended it to two of my friends and both have bought it and love it too, now with the phone version it can only do more to impress other friends especially as I book the DVDs I lend them as I pass it to them. I look forward to seeing the next update. :)
