I have recently lost all my files as I had to do a clean install
How can I bak up all my titles pictures etc if this happens in the future

To backup your files just make a copy of the folder named DVDpedia, by default located under ~/Library/Application Support/DVDpedia. When restoring, overwrite that folder with your backup folder, while DVDpedia is not running.
P.S. If you have backup software that automatically backs up a folder like your documents folder, you can move the DVDpedia folder to that folder in the DVDpedia preferences, so that it will be backed up automatically.
