Can't find list of previous borrower's

Post by shoewee »

I know there used to be an option to see all of the people that borrowed a particular book. I can't figure out where to find that now. Please help! Thanks!!

It's under the advance menu "Books Borrowed by..."; at the moment the person name has to be in your Address Book, but will change it to a free form field in a future update.

Oh. Yeah free form is important. So if they aren't in your address book, does that mean when it does change it won't have all of them listed?

The search is by name in the returned history of the book, it's just that command was tied to the address book back in 1.x version of the program and it stayed like that. In fact you can duplicate the command by creating the smart collection yourself and then you can search for any name or partial name without waiting for an update. Select new smart collection from the file menu and use the rule "Borrowed By (History) contains shoewee friend".
