Password authentication for z39.50 server

is it possible to add account/password authentication to Bookpedia's z39.50 interface?

Doubtful. I am not sure if you can embed the password for the server as part of the server URL like it can be done with FTP, but it's worth a try. I am sure Google should be able to turn up an answer if that is possible and what the format would be.
