Hi, first off thanks for the great app.
At least 90% of the books in my library are .pdf, .chm, .djvu etc...
I'm using a Mac Book Pro 10.4.8. I was just playing around today and
noticed that in Spotlight, you can change the name of the file and veiw
the file's metedata. I was wondering if it would be possible to have some kind
of editor that would work like id3 tag editor. Edit the metadata if neccessary and load
the appropriate fields in bookpedia. This would certainly make short work of cataloging 1000's files.
Off hand I can't think of the program I used to do 1000's of mp3s, but I could load an
entire directory of files in and whip thru it pretty quick.
Well that's my christmas wish:0)
Thanks again for the great work

The only element I've been able to change is the filename.I wasn't aware that it could be changed using Spotlight?
But you can veiw filename; kind; size; modified etc. as well
as a thumb nail of the first page. Then clicking the more info
button brings up the get info pane with the title; authors ect. ect ...
Thanks for the quick reply.
I look forward to any further
functionality concerning working
with e-documents in BPedia.
