DVDpedia full screen view change...

Hi, I've been using DVDpedia for the last couple of years, and have just updated to version 4.3.0 from 4.2.1 and my full screen view now only shows 5 DVD covers, where it used to show 7...

Is this a deliberate change in the latest version? Is there anyway I can get the 7 cover view back?

(I use DVDpedia on an intel mac mini running 10.5 connected to a TV with a screen resolution of 1920x1080.)

This was a deliberate change. It was actually a bug in DVDpedia. With wide resolutions it would put the 7 covers because we wrote our display routine flexible enough to be able to do that, but our interface routine couldn't handle it, it only counted 5. E.i. mouse clicks would be incorrect as it would think the center was the third cover and not the 4th. There is no way to get the 7 back in the current version. We hope to update the full screen to include more customization. In the meantime if the 7 covers are really important you could stick with the 4.2.2 version (I think this was the latest version before the fix).

Thanks for the reply Conor,

I control DVDpedia with remote buddy and have never had any problems with it selecting the wrong DVD whilst displaying 7 covers... anyway I look forward to future updates and more full screen customisation.

Until then I can definitely live with the 5 cover view especially if that means I can enjoy syncing up with pocketpedia on my iPhone!
