AppleScript support

Post by chebfarid »

Greetings from Milan/Italy and congratulations for your big software!
I tested DVDPedia 4 days ago and I registered 10 minutes later (I'm almost sorry that I have already finished to archive my quite big dvd/divx collection...)
The only thing I really miss in DVDPedia is support for AppleScript but I read in another thread that it should be arriving soon.
Looking forward for it
Best

I'm glad DVDpedia made such a good impression on you (and your dog :))
AppleScript is indeed on our to do list. We're still working on some Leopard fixes and the iSight scanning feature is in dire need of some love but AppleScript will definitely be added to the programs at some point.

Any update on the status of adding Automator or AppleScript back into the pedias?

Thanks.

Still working on it. We haven't included it, as I like to include it when I have a full solution, at the moment I have the very basics AppleScript working.

Not meaning to be a pest, but I was disappointed to see that AppleScript support was not listed in the 4.3 update. Is this still on the collective radar?

Thanks.

It's still on the radar. It just turned out to not be as simple to implement.
