Front Row plugin

The front row plug-in has made front row a little unstable - it stalls requiring a forced quit. I have a mini, with a 1.66 core duo, 2gigs of ram.

I'd like to uninstall it. The installer package states:

"To uninstall remove the plug-in from: /System/Library/CoreServices/FrontRow.app/Contents/PlugIns/DVDpedia.frappliance"

However I can't locate a FrontRow.app folder in the CoreServices folder, and haven't found the DVDpedia.frappliance file via spotlight. Can anyone advise how to uninstall the plug-in?

I'm a noob, so please accept my apologies if this is a stupid question.

The path is missing a space in Front Row and that is my fault, but it should be there in CoreServices as it's the only place that the plug-in can get installed.

In the Finder menu select Go and then Go to Folder... copy the following into the path:

/System/Library/CoreServices/Front Row.app/Contents/PlugIns

This should open a new Finder window set to the plug-ins folder where you can then move the DVDpedia.frappliance to the trash, it will ask you to authenticate. Do email us any console errors you get from Front Row as those might be helpful to Mathieu. (You can access the console log with the program 'Console' found in your Applications/Utilities. Just run the program and look for any messages from DVDpedia.)

I was looking for a folder named FrontRow.app, not realizing that it's a package instead.

hallo, i have some problem with this plugin. first of all, i have a mac ppc with tiger...is ok? or no...
Then...i tried to install, manually, i created the folder "plugins" because it wasn't in the folder "Contents". So i launched the installator, and the installation was ok! But, when i launch front row....where is the dvdpedia menu?
I have classic 4 icons: Dvd, iphoto, imovie and itunes.
Under imovie icon i not have nothing of dvdpedia...

The version of Front Row for Tiger does not have plug-in support. The plug-in only works with Leopard 10.5.

Sorry we forgot to make that clear on the Front Row plug-in page. I've amended it now that it's a Leopard only plug-in.
