Artist Last Name sort in CDPedia problem

Hello,

Thanks again for the pedias. Love them.

No matter what I do, I cannot get the artist column in CDPedia to sort by last name. I have manually spot-checked the Artist entries and see no extra white space at the end of the names, and I am also making sure to click some other column before option clicking the artist column so that I don't just reverse the sort order. Each time I option click the Artist column, it just sorts on the first letter of the first word.

Any thoughts? TIA for any help.

(running 10.5.2 and CDPedia 4.2.0)

Try deleting your preferences file with the program not running. You will find it in ~/Library/Preferences/com.bruji.cdpedia.plist, make sure to have your serial number as you will have to re-register (actually please move the file to the desktop, that way if it cures the problem you can email us the file so we can fix the bug for other users).

It turned out that I had a small number of entries in the "Sort Artist" field which was throwing off the option-click, sort-by-last-name functionality. Nora uploaded a new version that fixed this issue and all is now well.
