I just wondered if the automatic monthly backup of the database works when the database isn't in its default location. Obviously, I will see in due course, but that is still some time away.
I hope that it does work. If it doesn't at present, then it should be changed.
It does work, but you shouldn't rely on the automatic backup. A backup to another hard drive or (media) that is not the same as the data folder is ideal. Otherwise you lose the hard drive and you lose the entire data folder.
