Sounds like you have done an update to your Mac OS but have a older version of the app that does not have the new signing requirements.
You can simply replace your copy with a new copy from our server. Drag and drop to replace your copy.
Don't worry about your data it's not part of the application. It's stored in your home folder in ~/Library/Application Support/Bookpedia.
