Dvdpedia - Direct data entry

Post by PGW »

Hi,
Well, I FINALLY got a new Mac, so I was able to purchase the latest version of DVDPedia. Everything's running fine (though, frankly, I don't see much difference from the old version) - but one thing doesn't seem to be working as it did.
When I click on a "cell" (for example, to type in "USA" under the country category) the program no longer allows me simply to type in that data, but brings up a second window with all of the details of the DVD and wants me to type in in THERE.

I find it hard to believe you would put out a new version and reduce the functionality... is there a setting somewhere that I'm missing, or is this really something I can't do any longer?

This is OS X behaviour. Double-clicking a cell in the list view will open the edit window. Click it once to select and then click it again to edit inside; the little pause in between the two clicks will ensure that the edit window will not open.

Thanks, Nora. That does it (huge sigh of relief...!) :-)
