I've been using DVDpedia for a few months and I just love it. It's leaps and bounds ahead of KavaMovies DB which I had been using up until I got DVDpedia. The one area Kava does have their act together, where I have found DVDpedia lacking, is their connectivity with IMDB. BTW, I'm running version 4.6.8 of DVDpedia.
When I got DVDpedia, I went looking for the referred to IMDB plug-in, but couldn't find it on the plug-in page. When I customized the tool bar I put the IMDB button up into the tool bar, but since that time it has remained grayed out and of absolutely no help to me.
What am I missing or what am I doing wrong that I am not able to get IMDB connectivity form DVDpedia? I would appreciate a response as soon as possible. I have over 300 films on my hard drive that I am entering into DVDpedia by hand and if I was able to access IMDB from within DVDpedia it would make my searching for extra info such as actors, directors, what not, a sight easier than it is at the moment.

The IMDb button in the toolbar is simply a connection back to IMDb once an entry has an IMDb number, i.e. when you downloaded the entry from IMDb or added the number manually to the IMDb field.
To use IMDb as a search option, select it in the search window (the one that comes up when you press the 'Plus' button in the toolbar) from the Site drop down menu.
