DVDPedia export to iPhone ?

Post by GoldGold »

Hi,

is there a possibility to export the DVDPedia Library to the iPhone ???

How do you do it ????

And is there a iPhone Version of DVDPedia in Progress ??

That would be great.

Adding Movies to my Wishlist when i´m on travel is important.

I have exported my DVDpedia library to pdf and it works quite well. However, I would be interested in exporting to text if I could find an iPhone text app with one feature: search. I use GoodReader for pdf and that has a nice search feature that works well. Does anyone know a text app for the iPhone that has a find or search ability?

There will be once we can get Pocketpedia back on a mobile device.

I didn't notice that PP2 is not available anymore. Where did it go?
I guess thats why there has been no updates in a while. I would love to add and delete movies from dvdpedia on the iphone app.

You can read all about the issue on our blog. There are also several threads here in the forum about the Amazon problem.
Once we have fixed the problems with Amazon, i.e. replaced them as a search engine, then we'll start work on Pocketpedia again as well including adding options.

Nora,

Do you have any updates on a new PocketPedia yet? I've gone as long as I can without update my iTouch to ios 4.x and I don't want to lose any of my data. Thanks

Doubtful there's more info to announce than what Nora just posted. :)

When Pocketpedia is ready for release once more, we'll be sure to let everyone know. :) In the meantime, you should be able to update to iOS 4.x without loosing any data from Pocketpedia. We've had mixed reports from a few users where the iTunes sync after the update was iffy but there didn't seem to be any major problems. (If anyone has had trouble - or not - with the iOS 4.x update, please share.)
