MobileMe Problems
I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this issue, but I've tried to upload a Bookpedia library to MobileMe several times now. It's finally showing up under "Web" in MobileMe, but it's still showing the files as downloadable files. Is that something with MobileMe? If not, how can I export this library to where someone else can see it in the same way I do as a preview? Should it be uploaded to an FTP site and displayed as a website? I need the library and all of its details viewable as a searchable webpage. Thanks!
Re: MobileMe Problems
The uploaded files should automatically be seen as webpages when loaded directly in Safari. If Safari is displaying folders for the files instead of the HTML, please do email us the link to your MobileMe Bookpedia upload so that we can investigate.

Re: MobileMe Problems
Hi Conor,
Thanks for the reply! I was able to get the first library to upload into MobileMe correctly, but I can't seem to get the second one to load and display correctly. I've been trying to get it to display correctly since last night around 7:30 pm EST. I've tried uploading it several times, and the folder shows up in MobileMe under Web>Sites; however, whenever I try to open the Safari page for the selected library, it is not working. The original library is working just fine though. Should I still email you the folders? If so, how would you proceed from there?
Thanks!

Re: MobileMe Problems
MobileMe's "Web" folder handles like a regular web server. You should be able to load any file in that folder in Safari as a regular HTML. Try visiting the file directly to see if it can be viewed properly. The link would be
http://web.me.com/username/foldername/index.html
We would simply visit your MobileMe site as the problem sounds to be with MobileMe. Once the files are up, there is nothing really special about them. The fact that the preview is correct on your Mac before the upload means the export went well and the files have been correctly exported. From there the only step that Bookpedia does is upload them to MobileMe.
You could try doing the upload manually to see if it makes a difference. Use the regular HTML export to create a folder on your desktop that you can then copy over to the MobileMe "Web" folder using the iDisk feature.
