Autofill for "Subjects"

Can't seem to get Autofill to work on Subjects column....

There doesn't seem to be such an option in the preferences.

Because the subjects field takes new lines characters, it does not have autofill.

So how do I figure out which fields have autofill?

All those fields that have a little triangle next to them in the Add/Edit window are autofill. Alternatively you can see a full list (as well as edit the autofill values) by going into the Preferences/Autofill.

This is most helpful as I am editing my list of 2000 books into subjects, types etc.

Ahh, I guess you mean the triangle and inverted triangle pair that's also a click target for the corresponding popup menu. I only knew about the latter, not realizing it's also an autofill indicator and that the two functions are directly correlated.
