[Bookpedia] Paperback book editions are missed from search

Hi. I've faced with problem when searching for books in Amazon using Bookpedia. Sometimes only Kindle editions being found for books despite the fact that I could manually find paperback editions via web search. It's pretty annoying as Kindle editions usually have another information for publish year and some other fields.

For example take a look at these two books (put into search field):
Mac OS X Leopard: The Missing Manual (the paperback version isn't found, however it's in Amazon - http://www.amazon.com/Mac-OS-Leopard-Mi ... 971&sr=1-1)
Fit for Developing Software ((the paperback version isn't found, however it's in Amazon - http://www.amazon.com/Fit-Developing-So ... 015&sr=1-1)

Could you please fix this issue?

Thank you for the info, will take a look and see if there are new options for sorting out the Kindle results in the Amazon API and why only one format is returned. If there isn't I am sure there will be as the Kindle becomes more popular. In the meantime, add 'paperback' to your search so that it'll only return the paperback version. I.e. enter "Fit for Developing Software paperback" into the search window instead of just the title.

Thank you for reply. Unfortunately Kindle result is not the first result - it's actually the one result at all. Yes, there are few other alternatives without cover, details, etc. however there is no paperback result at all (I've tried adding "paperback" to query too).

What do you have the "Site" and "Limit To" popups set to in the Search window?



I set mine to "Cascade" and "None" respectively and it did find both of the entries you mentioned. In fact it was the first item it found.

Alex, it really helped to add "paperback" to query! Seems that I had some settings wrong when I tried to add it before. Thank you for help.
