Absoluut N00b question, sry!

Post by Verliezer »

Hi,

I am brand new into the Mac stuff, just bought an macbook 13" . I did also buy bookpedia for my comic collection. There is where the trouble starts.

How to install bookpedia (guess its maybe more an mac question than book bookpedia) :)

Just download and dubbelclick I thought. Well that true, but it only starts up bookpedia. If I close bookpedia I can not fing it back (also not in the programs directory in finder). Only thing that works is to go to the download place and start bookpedia all over.

Sry, its prob the most N00b quuestion on the forum and has nothing to do with bookpedia but with my general mac skills  ....... I would be thankfull for some help 8)

This is what you do:

Go to your downloads folder,
drag the Bookpedia icon to your Applications folder. This is where it will live from now on.

To keep Bookpedia in the dock (the bar at the bottom of the screen where other programs reside), launch Bookpedia by double-clicking it, then right-click (or Ctrl-click) on the Bookpedia icon in the dock and choose "Keep in dock".
